Dartington Rebranding Initiative In "Push For Growth"

Dartington Foods is expanding its range of popular gourmet foods with the addition of luxury smoked salmon products.
The Dartington smoked salmon range will initially be sold in 100g, 200g and 400g vacuum-packed pouches. For easy serving the product will be interleaved with paper ghost-printed with the distinctive Dartington logo.
Dartington Chairman Chris Slay says: "The Dartington brand name stands for quality. It was for this reason we took the strategic decision to expand the range to include a high quality, luxury chilled product. The process employed is confidential but we are confident it will be welcomed by the discerning consumer for its distinctive characteristics."
Dartington Foods will continue to supply major supermarket customers including Somerfield for whom it won Family Circle’s award for best smoked salmon range in December last year.
There are already plans to extend the new range with more added value products later in the year building on the group’s reputation as product innovators.
Dartington’s existing product range includes its highly successful collection of fruits in alcohol, flavoured oils and vinegars and layered pulses. It has just introduced a new line of fruits bottled in white grape juice. Further new ranges are imminent. |
